July took GrahamStone Motorsport back to New Jersey Motorsports Park, this time on the faster Thunderbolt circuit, and the weather delivered. Warm, dry, and clear for a proper summer day at the track.

The trip doubled as a shakedown for a round of upgrades. A fresh brake package went on the Cayman GTS along with new seats and a proper harness setup, and the car felt sharper and more connected right away. The new brakes gave a firmer, more confident pedal, and the added support from the seats and belts made a real difference through the fast, flowing sections. The GTS ran strong all weekend and gave no trouble.

The weekend flagged a few small items worth dialing in, so GrahamStone Motorsport is heading back to fine tune the setup and log more time on the new hardware. The foundation is there. Now it is about the details.

June brought a complete turnaround. GrahamStone Motorsport headed to New Jersey Motorsports Park’s Lightning circuit over Father’s Day weekend and got the kind of weather every driver dreams about. Warm, dry, and clear from the first session to the last.

Lightning is a tight 1.9 mile course that rewards precision over horsepower, and the Cayman GTS was in its element. The car turned in sharply, settled quickly, and put its power down cleanly out of the slow corners. Grip stayed strong all weekend and the GTS ran flawlessly session after session.

Great weather, a happy car, and a holiday weekend at the track. It does not get much better than that.

Cold, Wet, and Ready: GrahamStone Motorsport Opens 2026 at Pocono

GrahamStone Motorsport kicked off the 2026 season at Pocono Raceway in April, running the South/East layout. The weather did not cooperate. Cold air and steady rain kept the surface slick all day and put a premium on smooth inputs and patience.

Those are the days that teach you the most. The Porsche Cayman GTS felt planted and predictable even as the track stayed wet, and its balanced mid-engine layout paid off through the slower, technical sections of the course. The car ran clean from the first session to the last with no drama.

It was not the glamour opener anyone hoped for, but it was a productive one. GrahamStone Motorsport left Pocono with good data, more wet-weather seat time, and a car that proved it can handle whatever the calendar throws at it.
